Donation fundraiser page for a ministry that feeds children & teaches about Jesus in Pakistan.

On a Sunday morning I woke up with this man’s ministry on my mind, this brother has been a friend on FaceBook since July 21, 2020. As looked through his messages sent to me through messenger I could see that throughout the past 10 months of friendship on FaceBook, he has been faithful to continue in his love and compassion to feed the children of Pakistan both physically and spiritually. But why did God have me think about his ministry?

So, I went to Sunday morning church service, which was interrupted by a phone call, not mine, I don’t take calls at church. The call came to sister Carmen, whom I pick up every Sunday and Tuesdays for church services. In the call to Carmen, they were looking for me, to unload 1800 LBS of raw whole chickens.  Being a Chaplain at a truck stop, I have access to the forklift in the maintenance shop, so I offered to give them some chicken if they would unload the pallet from the truck.

So, we gave some 50 LB cases to the maintenance department, some went to Carmen’s household, I gave 3 cases to a Hispanic family who my wife and I minister too. In this family the grandmother, mom and son are now Christians, still 1 daughter unsaved (but we will pray). Also gave about 3 cases to my friend Angie who feeds the homeless and the rest I gave out to all the homes on my street. One household had a dinner gathering so many guests received 2 or 3 cases to take home. Someone from that home came to my house while I was inside and gave my friend $120 to give to me, but I don’t accept money, but I was told to donate it somewhere.

It is a that point in time I remembered the dream about the feeding ministry in Pakistan, and I knew that the money ($120) was provided to give this to the ministry in Pakistan. After many struggles to send money I finally sent the money via Western Union, it did end up costing me $9 to transmit the cash to Pakistan but well worth it.

Upon receiving the money in Pakistan, my Face Book friend was very thankful and went out and purchased food to feed the children. I wanted to verify the ministry’s outreach to the children, so, I ask they to send me a photo of a sign saying, “thank you Jesus”. So, within a day or so I was sent some photos of my friend feeding and teaching the children with a sign that was written “Thank you for your help my brother Larry”.

With that said, I now trust this Pakistan brother in the ministry God has him doing. I would like to gather a team of Brothers and sisters to help with financial gifts to help to feed and educate the Pakistan children about Jesus Christ.
